The 100 Series combines the old-world craftsmanship of raised panel design with the beauty of MITERED FRAME Detailing. The Frame of the Door is made from Already-made pieces of Decorative Molding, then cut and assembled Like a Picture Frame, with the corners of the frame 'mitered' together at 45 degree angles. Ranging from Simple to Very Elaborate! Matching 5-piece Drawer Fronts are also available!

The 100 Series Doors are 3/4" thick SOLID "RAISED PANEL" Wood Doors. "RAISED PANEL" means that the center panel is made of SOLID wood and raised up to the same thickness as the frame of the door... The 4 pieces of the Outside Frame of the Door are connected using a "MITERED" Joint. This 45 degree joint is the same type of joint used when making Picture Frames. The advantage to this type of joint is that wood pieces that make up the frame can be much more decorative than they can be in the 200 or 400 series "Mortise & Tenon" doors.

The Frame of the 100 Series Door will ALWAYS be Square. Arched doors cannot be made with this type of joint, but that is more than made up for by the beautifully sculptured molding that makes up the 4 pieces of this door frame.

The100 SERIES Raised Panel Doors Have the most elegant look available of ALL the doors we offer. Besides the Wood Species, the Style of the Door (125, 150, etc.), and all the different color Finishes available, You also get to choose the Outside Edge Profile and the Panel Profile.

The quality of the completed door is the same on all the styles, however the cost of the wood species, and the amount of labor involved in making the particular door of your choice will alter the price accordingly.

Most edges can be bored for concealed hinges if requested @ $1.00 per hole (list)
